Welcome back Eli
I was really happy to see Eli back to his pre injury 2014 form today. I thought his tackle pressure and tackle descision making was excellent. When he made a made a few tackles stick and created turnovers, they are so much more valuable than ineffective tackles, especially when close to our attacking 50, so to see that part of his game back to its best was really pleasing. I thought he looked much more composed and up to the speed of the game than his sole appearance at the star of the year and he looked hungry for the contest all day, something that playing back at Sandi for the last month may have motivated him for...he holds his spot for mine, it was a tough day for all our boys, but it was nice to see Eli back out there!!
