Re: Votes v Pies
5 - Armo, definitely earnt his keep tonight
4 - Steven, 100% workrate
3 - Roberton, his efficiency AND decision making is improving
2 - Savage, love the dash from half bakc - I wonder if he's Number 1 in the AFL for long kicks inside 50
1 - Membrey, presented well and made the most of his limited opportunities.

Re: Votes v Pies
5 = Steven - gets around the ground brilliantly racking up the possessions. His kicking is a worry with those stubby little legs though stopping him being as dangerous as he could be
4 Roberton - there was some real confidence and poise in him tonight - showed some great touch early. Given me some hope that he could still have a real future with the club.
3 - Fisher - could have been a lot worse without his class and marking ability on the backline
2 - Membrey - shows some great hands and has a bit of the tattoed mongrel about him. Not really sure if he can be that leading forward we need but has showed some real presence out there.
1 - Bruce - two goals I think and straight kicking was a delight. Not sure if he can be a power forward or not but provided something of a focal point and hit in hard.

Bruce really?? He had 3 touches in the entire game. Armo also kicked 2 goals along with 33 disposals and 9 tackles!!!!!Bluthy wrote:5 = Steven - gets around the ground brilliantly racking up the possessions. Re: Votes v Pies
5 armo - easily, was in the thick of it the whole game, lead team in possessions and tackles and had 2 goals
4 Steven - work horse whole game, that run up the field at the end which ended in the 'freekick' was amazing when he popped back on screen to get the Paddy pass ( I thought the free was his at first )
3 Roberton - Stand out game, best point was in the 4th and he looked dead on his feet then gut ran and got to the ball to beat a few pies, looked even worse after that and backed it up again a minute later
2 Newnes - starting to come into his own at 50 games, looks set for a good season, stats are up.
1 Membrey - Didn't know much about him, but if you didnt know better you wouldnt think that was his 4th game. Breath of fresh air in the forward line after our past experiments. That strong overhead mark when noone could hold onto the thing.

"Where are you going? Why don't you walk the wheel with us? what is the matter my American friend? what has upset you? Oh! I know. The bad machine doesn't know that he's a bad machine. You still don't believe it. You still don't believe you're a bad machine? To know yourself is to know God, my friend. The factory knows, that's why they put you here. You'll see... You'll find out... In time, you'll know. "plugger66 wrote:I have no idea what stats say, well I do but watching the game live there were only 2 players worth getting votes so im going

Yeah I'll cop that. Didn't realise Bruce only had 3 touches - he seemed to there abouts most of the night. Should have got Armo in there and Savage for Bruce and Membrey. Armo is so in and under I often don't see all his work.BringBackMadDog wrote:Bruce really?? He had 3 touches in the entire game. Re: Votes v Pies
Schneider's haircut made him look very similar to Bruce. Maybe you liked Schneider more than you thought, and liked Bruce less than you thought?Bluthy wrote:Yeah I'll cop that. Didn't realise Bruce only had 3 touches - he seemed to there abouts most of the night.

Some believe that Schneider won his position and is a worthier inclusion than Wright
