Armo (one of his best games ever for us)
Bruce
Dunstan
Newnes
Longer
Apologies to Savage who was sensational... normally would have been in our top 3 most weeks with that game.
And what about Saad in that first quarter who was on fire and lped to set things up for the night!

Both bottom two Jacks outstanding in their commitment considering their age. All 5 Jacks actually.

Who didn't play well? Quiet game from Steven but still contributed well.
What are people's thoughts on Curren's game? Not a great user.

5- Bruce
4- Armo
3- Dunstan
2- Weller
1- Steven
Savage, Newnes, Longer, Billings, Geary, Saad, all had good games. I think we are starting to develop some good back ups to our main midfield.

Curren was serviceable with out being outstanding. I thought Wrighty looked amazing until he kicked the ball. He needs a bit more composure but he did one run that made me want to jump up from my seat and was marking like a machine. I remembered why I loved him early on now. He nearly cracked his head open in the first few minutes after coming on but just jumps back up. They all pressured incredibly well. Saad was great until he came of, was the second most fantasy points on the ground when he came off.
Hard to find any negatives.

He went on to Prestia after he'd had a giant 1st. As 'they' are prone to say, "he played his role".....Jack #1, that is.FQF wrote:Who didn't play well? Quiet game from Steven but still contributed well.

Re: Votes v Gold Coast
Composure will come to Wrighty, G. His problem ATM is the mid-distance kicks. He's a helter skelter type who will learn. The kicking action is fine, just too much adrenaline flowing - notice how he usually kicks over the leading player.gringo wrote:FQF wrote:Who didn't play well? I love this kid as a player. Crazy brave (to his detriment so far in his career), but he can get it, run with it, get by opponents, mark over his navel, and win contests. If he can stay upWright, we've got a real good un.
