Well same old same old. We will will struggle to win a single game with this midfield.
Besides Steven we dont have an A grader.

Good effort. Just lack skills to finish off the hard work. Losing Rooy didn't help either.

Any word on Nick following him getting injured. It looked scared as I didn't think he could move for a moment.
Who ever number 14 is for the, not only did Bruce fix him up, so did Joey a few minutes later. Number 14 was in hands and knees as Joey walked off.
Start sending the hat around to help pay for the fine.

Looked like a complete accident to me. Hope Rooy is ok. His back was obviously really hurting.

May have been a complete accident that he was suddenly confronted by Nick's back but he put his elbow in front of him providing the object to injure Roo's back - unnecessary, and I would even go as far as to say negligent.plugger66 wrote:ozrulestrace wrote:Any word on Nick following him getting injured. Good to see the team flying the flag, I was hoping saner heads would have prefailed though and that it was a rallying time for the boys.ozrulestrace wrote:Any word on Nick following him getting injured. It looked scared as I didn't think he could move for a moment.

Don't think he saw him till the last split second. Be very surprised if there is any action.

Re: Saints v GWS Game Thread (live scores)
some good signs..didn't think we would do as well as we did, still some shocking skill errors but they will lessen time and the fact that if not for the Umps we would have won the first game of the season.
Still 2 yrs away but there is hope
Signing Jack up and Bruce starting to shine are major positives.

We are a bit better than I thought .
Bruce, Lonie and Savage are pluses.
This.
Just back and still can't believe the umpiring, especially in Q3. Still, same old same old, need to be in front anyway.
Jack Sinclair also looks like he can hit a target. Revolutionary stuff!
Josh Bruce's marks a genuine highlight.
We will get belted a fair bit this year, but there is still lots to like out there. Umpiring aside.
Go Saints!

Re: Saints v GWS Game Thread (live scores)
Positives
Bruce starting to show a bit
Steven just about back to his best
Lonie hit a target nearly every kick
Longer took a few grabs
Negatives
Saad - couldnt get near it
Eli - needs to go back to Sandy and get his confidence back
Most of our back 6 are hit and miss with their kicking
