Can't disagree with anything except that Gold Coast is classified as 'winnable'. I think that's a stretch...

Further to what the article writes re Fisher - if we get Fisher and Gilbert on the park for most of the year, it will go a very long way toward us improving our percentage (and perhaps win/loss) from last year.

Agree boys, Fisher is a massive key to our back line. Gilbert will take some time unfortunately.

Still not that concerned about winning.

I'd rather win five and lose the rest and be extremely competitive for three quarters in the other matches.

Last year we pinched some wins but put in a few stinkers.

We played so many matches of a good half but no more. There were quite a few of no better than a single quarter. Then there were some of zero good quarters.

What will demoralise players is getting pumped by 60+ points. What will inspire them to lift up the table in 2016 and beyond is getting a sniff of it.

in the vast majority of the games we got walloped in the first and then fought out the game. it almost seemed by design - how to lose whilst playing (three quarters) at maximum effort.
Need to improve on that (unless engineering another top draft pick) and be competitive from the first bounce.

Win/loss is irrelevant when you are not a contender. I'll be happy with a good improvement across the board. That will not necessarily translate to a better win/loss than last year. Improvement is the key.

I've just realised I had successfully repressed that memory until now. That's a wound I didn't need reopened.
