Athletic midfielder with speed, endurance and agility. Versatile enough to play on small and tall opponents. Shows good game sense and awareness. Amassed 18 possessions and three marks at 89 per cent efficiency against Vic Country in NAB AFL Under-18 Championships. Finished second in the agility run (8.10 sec), third in running vertical jump (94cm), fourth in repeat sprint (24.02 sec) and equal-sixth the 3km time trial (10:07) at NAB AFL Draft Combine.

"Don't argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience."
His highlights tape is flawless in regards to foot skills. Hits every target. Left and right. In space, in tight, weighted kicks and bullets. Also shows impressive overhead skills for a guy his size. The question I immediately asked myself is can he get it?
"I'm a better coach when Nick Riewoldt is in the side" - Ross Lyon 2007
Watched his highlights again.
Has an exceptional leap and seems to have genuine pace.
If he's 183 but leaps 10cm higher than everyone else he gets a real advantage. Bloody impressive highlights. Kicking a feature (both sides).
If he can translate that to senior footy it will be exciting.

He has the marking of Farren and the movement of Ryan Griffen. If he can translate it to AFL him, Jimmy Webster and Blake Acres will be a scary trio to deal with. All tall and nimble with good skills. No pressure but he had better be better than Rhys.

He's not that tall - 184cm, same as Dunstan and Newnes.
