Have to consider gate in the 20m sprint, that why the bigger blokes feature high. It's not a good test across player styles imo, watch the highlights and he runs rings around bigger blokes, then typically bangs it thru. Good 20 sprint is good for Plugger style forwards, whereas agile cat like Milne qualities for a small forward. No cat like test as yet.

And just think of all the legitimate frees he'll draw at clearances... no need for any Selwood-style ducking into tackles. I'm being totally serious on this one. Too many blokes can be a bit lax with their tackling technique anyway, as in they don't get down low enough when required... so against Caleb... (Plays with a helmet already, so hopefully that'll protect him a bit too.)

His lack of height would no doubt put a lot of teams off, including us.

Having said that, there's no way we would take him with our #1 pick and I doubt we would take him with our #2 pick either, but if he's still available when our 3rd pick comes around, I wouldn't hesitate in taking him.....I would love to have him on our list.

A lot is made of his highlights, but playing at 168cm is probably easier when you are young. 3 or so years into his career, he'll be playing against a team that are ALL 10-40cm taller. How will he tackle? I'm willing to bet the height average has gone up a bit since Tony Libratore was playing.

His height isn't the only importance, but I just wondered how much upside he has in a body that can no longer grow vertically.

I think the Liberatore comparison is appropriate even if they don't match up perfectly on height. Is he ever going to take a contested mark, probably not, but so what...if he runs into the right spots (he's fit as) he'll get his share of the footy, and he's built for the in and under stuff...will become a nugget and very good extractor...I like the kid and think he would be in the 20's for mine having only seen a couple of SANFL games on tele and footage from his underage stuff, never live, but also taking into account his combine testing...but i'm an armchair critic so it's easy to say that.
