what a waste
I love the future fest - but every day we're exhorted to 'commit to a Saints future' and yet there are no membership packages available. What a wasted opportunity! We could all be committing to 3 or 4 year deals here alongside the players.
Pity.

I assume the end of the future fest will coincide with a big launch of the membership packages.freely wrote:I love the future fest - but every day we're exhorted to 'commit to a Saints future' and yet there are no membership packages available. +1
I don't understand why we don't have multi year memberships, would be great for advance sales on the balance sheet and really help the bean counters!

Re: what a waste
seems odd doesnt it
im happy to stick with the payment thingy each month as you just ignore it and it does its thing
but if peeps would like to sign for a number of years youd think that the afl would be all over it?

Re: what a waste
It could be that we are waiting for the AFL to set the prices for Membership Packages !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Re: what a waste
i dont think so but the AFL do set the min price of a membership each year ... basically to stop clubs making $10 pet memberships count as offical membership numbers

Re: what a waste
Beside being a GOLD Saints member I also joined GWS (as a Canberra resident keen to support them bringing AFL games here).
I renewed that membership for 2015 at the last GWS game in Canberra back in August v Power, and they through in a travel rug for the early renewal!
Not aware of other clubs but obviously there is no AFL restriction on the timing.
Would think better for the club to get their hands on our money ASAP.

and yet others will complain if they come out too soon
But don't worry - by next week you will know
I would assume the boys saying are you going to join us is the lead in to the arrival of membership information

Re: what a waste
Agree it would be better to have them available now. And looking at the website today the playing list still features Maister, Dennis-Lane, Gwilt, Curren, Jones, Lenny......
Re: what a waste
maybe the afl don't permit it so that the clubs don't spend multiple years of membership cash ahead of timest_Trav_ofWA wrote:im not sure the AFL allow multi year memberships as you mentioned .. from memory it took some work to get the AFL to allow the roll over membership plan ....
