What a great Saints man.

Epic is a great term for his year.

A player who is so driven KNOWS his chance for a flag is gone, and plays the way he did this year.

I am privileged to watch him play for the team I support

Great effort, especially given all his injury trouble since his last appearance. Fair reward for a great season.

How could you put a lazy boofhead like Hawkins in ahead of hard working champ like Roo?

To play as well and consistently week in week out with the wooden spoon side was one thing, but to show the leadership and continual determination at times when even the mightiest of leaders would have dropped their heads may well be his finest achievement to date in a St Kilda jumper. In my opinion shares the same level of standing in history with this club as the likes of Harvey, Lockett, Baldock, Barker and co. A great recognition for a great St Kilda person

Do not take it for granted that you have the privilege of see Nick Riewoldt play for us every week. You probably won't see another player like him in your life time.

Last night on AFL 360 Paul Roos said that he should be AA Captain, that is how significant his effort has been this year.

Mate, just wow.

To make AA at the beginning, middle and end is just...wow.

Love him to death.

Not that I particularly like him, but I think it was Cameron Mooney who said he would be mentally scarred after
the GF and it would take him a long time to find his way back.

Love him or hate him, he copped a bashing after his performance in the GF and he has had an outstanding year.
Prob one of the reasons Port beat freo. I did hear some amazing stat about the no of games freo lost without
Hayden in it.

Good on him , he has proved the haters and doubters wrong, and I like to see that in a sportsperson. He would
be handy working next to Roo.

But just my opinion

I hope you are wrong, but fear you are right. He was a certainty for AA selection on this year's form.

yeah congrats

why dont they just name it the top 24 in the league
its not like thats the team that will play every other country in the footy world cup
always puzzled me
might play ireland in some half assed half changed rules crap but half the players picked in the AA never end up playing anyway

I think Stinger is only referring to 'champion key forwards' in his post............. champion that Harves was........... he wasn't a key forward!
