North or Freo.
Love to see Dal snag one, nothing against Lyon.
Couldn't bear seeing Hawthorn, Sydney or Geelong have more success { like Federer or Nadal } sick of them.

Hawks - deserve the flag.
Freo - the Swans concessions are a joke, as is their fixed draw.
North - obvious why.
Port - fantastic to see the prison bars on the field in an afl final. hope they win it all.

Re: Who do we barrack for this weekend?
For me the AFL season is over. Can't stand to barrack for any other club. So it's on to Port Melboure, Manchester United, Portland Timbers, Seattle Seahawks, Melbourne Rising andf Melbourne Storm

For two reasons.
1) I don't know any Dockers supporters
2) To piss off the Lyon haters on here.
And if they lose I still win cause I get to become a Lyon hater and mock him again

We'll this weekend is a no-brainer.
North because of NDS and the fact that we are sick of Geelong and pro Geelong commentators.
Port because they are playing Lyin.

Re: Who do we barrack for this weekend?
Gee it was nice to see Port in their real jumpers. First team i followed (outside of my local league) - SA footy was as big, if not bigger, up here in the seventies. I went to the port v st kilda game in 97 amongst port members (with my uncle) and was unsure of who i would support. But as fate would cruelly have it, within the first half, even though we were down, i knew the saints had my heart.
Still wonder though, if Port were the magpies, and in the prison bars, whether my heart would've gone the other way. Obviously hoping Port can go on with it this weekend, and win a flag whilst the saints are down. Hopefully only a two to three year window!

The only issue if Norf win is that they'll get murdered in the Prelim by Shytney.
Geelong would be more competitive.
Sadly, whatever happens, we all know the COLA Swines will be in the granny.

Teams 5 to 8 don't even make grannys let alone win them!desertsaint wrote:Gee it was nice to see Port in their real jumpers. Probably North this week but nothing to do with Dal. Obviously Freo as RL is coaching them. Side very depleated though.

Re: Who do we hope wins this weekend?
Geelong v North Melb - probably Geelong, but wouldn't mind NM for Swallow & Dal Santo
Dockers v Port Adelaide - maybe Port for Shaun Hart, but don't mind either
Chelsea Roffey
Box Hill

Rather see North get up..though I suspect Geelong will pull a rabbit out of the hat. Not fussed about Port as they have the coach we should have had, and Freo can go jump

North's time has come and like us, they are a bit of a struggling club.
Port. I'm envious but I love the romance. Port are great to watch and I like Hinkley a lot.
