Funny because I was about to write a post saying hes shown he can go on.
But hey maybe he wanted to remind people how good he was before he went.
Just watching the Tiges game - and his reading of the play and ball drop etc is absolutely elite. He always reads the play and then the ball in the air better than every else. He is the king of the intercept.
But wouldnt surprise me one bit if hes just had enough. Another pre-season looming and another year of likely losses. He might have other things to do (e.g Golf) while his body is still in tact....

i saw him at the training session at the gold coast....he walked off at one stage with some of the officials.....had one unhappy look on his face...he's a champion....probably it's just his big heart keeping him going and he knows his body is stuffed...if you are retiring champ...thanks for the memories....
.everybody still loves lenny....and we always will

i will be the first to admit i was wrong about fish. truly felt he was cooked during this season and that he would not play another game let alone another season...
If he is delisted I reckon a certain R.Lyon would lick his lips at the thought of getting him in the PSD. His lack of run these days would rule him out of Geelong or Hawks but he could fit in well with Sydney's chip it around style.
I really love Sammy, he is definitely one of the big favourites. But unfortunately I think he is done. It a shame, but there is nothing worse than players, playing that one year to long. Thanks Chips, you have been a great St Kilda player.
