Drop Seb Ross?!?! The guy who had 19 touches at 80% efficiency, 5 marks, 4 tackles, kicked a goal and was listed in our best three players?coopergrech wrote:In : White (Debut) , Jones , Shents , Saunders

How does Murdoch miss? He played and sub and kicked a goal...coopergrech wrote:In : White (Debut) , Jones , Shents , Saunders

Ross stays because he played well.
Jones never plays again.
White plays because why not?

Re: Changes for next week
I thought the idea was to get game time into the KIDS, so on that criteria, CJ runs out for Sandy again until season's end.
St Kilda forever ( God help me)

Sounds reasonable, but I'd keep Murdoch and give Schnieder a rest.sax wrote:Out: Bruce (inj), Billings, (inj), Murdoch

Is Acres ready?

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

If white came in..............Gwilt to play backPJ wrote:Out Bruce and Billings

Bruce/Gwilt have played both ends
White would only play fwd at this stage.

Re: Changes for next week
Both Bruce and Billing started forward on Sunday. I'd replace them directly with Gwilt and White and put Roberton down back where Jimmy started.chook23 wrote:If white came in..............Gwilt to play backPJ wrote:Out Bruce and Billings

Arent we a bit top heavy in the forward line then. Think the ball would struggle to stay in our forward line because of lack of pace.

Re: Changes for next week
Could be but I'd imagine that Jimmy would be able to work defensively to hold the ball in and I really can't see a direct replacement for Billings other than Saunders (who I think needs another pre-season). I haven't seen Spencer play live but by all reports he's fairly quick so really it's a suck it and see approach.plugger66 wrote:PJ wrote:Both Bruce and Billing started forward on Sunday. Re: Changes for next week
With Billings gone, is Minch a chance? Or has the decision been made on him?
He has some kind of X factor. I'd like to have seen more of him this year, but it may be too late.

Re: Changes for next week
If they debut White this week then I will run nude from Seaford to Moorabbin.
Bloody stupid if they put him in this week against a team that needs to tear us apart up at the SCG...think about it.

I agree. Tell him if he puts in another good performance at sandy this week that he'll be making his debut next week against Richmond.Cairnsman wrote:If they debut White this week then I will run nude from Seaford to Moorabbin.

Reckon the Tigers are going OK also. If he isnt injured and form is good enough and there is a spot then he plays. Seems he ticks all 3 this week. Doesnt matter who we play. Whay if it rains against the tigers?

Re: Changes for next week
Better to be beaten by the conditions than to be beat up by a team just raring to chew us up and spit us out. The Swans will go for our jugular this week.plugger66 wrote:LTN16 wrote:I agree. And if the Tigers win this week so will they. You shouldnt pick a player based on the opposition. If he played against Freo he would have got many more oppotunities that anyone would have thought beforehand.

Re: Changes for next week
Why don't we give one of the reserve ruckmen a go too?
Couldn't do a lot less than Longer.

Re: Changes for next week
Hindsight call on the Freo game. Pretty sure the good clubs take into consideration the opposition and game circumstances when selecting a player for his debut.plugger66 wrote:Cairnsman wrote:Better to be beaten by the conditions than to be beat up by a team just raring to chew us up and spit us out.
