Yes, I was against the divide into sub-forums, but I never said I wanted it back the way it was.

And I don't think me wanting you to acknowledge your inaccuracy is being precious.

Being precious is not admitting one's mistake.

On the other subject, this forum morally belongs to the members. It wouldn't exist without us, and some of us even contributed cash to keep it going. Tired of enduring Admin and Mod ego trips.

Just let me know beforehand when you guys are going to delete my ID and wipe my post counts, which happened before under this forum's dictatorship, just because I dared to disagree with a Mod. I'd like a final post to say goodbye.

There's no intention from me and as far as I can see anyone else, to delete post counts or remove anyone from the forum. There's no intention to do anything other than improve the forum by removing abuse and belittling. If you and a small number of other posters want to hang on to the idea that there's intentional bias or the desire to remove particular posters from the forum, or turn SS into a commercial venture or any of the other accusations that surface from time to time, then there's nothing to be done about that it seems.

With good intention as a new mod, I've tried to engage with yourself, POQ and others around this issue, but it appears there's a determination on your part to hang on to what you see are injustices and dictatorship of the forum as the basis for ongoing accusations of bias. For my part and as clearly as I can see, this is absolutely untrue.

I don't want to engage with it any more. It looks like a no win situation and engaging with it seems to actually not be achieving anything useful for either of us.

I think that everyone's opinion is well known and fully expressed on all matters ownership, admin, moderation, rules and technical features.

I am requesting a ceasefire!

A full review will be made in September / October with Damien.

This will give everyone 6 weeks to prepare a submission for consideration on any matters.

I shall request that a panel be established to review and discuss all submissions.

Panel members will need to reside in Melbourne or be prepared to travel as the panel will meet in person to consider everything. Resolution of issues will be by 2/3 majority.

Naturally Damien has to agree to any specific changes that impact his ownership or creates a legal liability.

it's functioning fine as far as i'm concerned....those that just want to abuse have been pulled into line, the site is far more enjoyable with a hell of a lot less bullying, stalking and just plain offensive remarks......as i said you guys are doing a great job...why cave in to three malcontents who will never be happy until they are running the site.....????

i couldnt give two hoots who runs it, unless:
1.you do f*** all about improving it
2.play favs
3.dont follow the rules you wrote
4.dont listen and answer members

2 and 4 seems to be fine
3 im not around here enough to read every post
1 im not sure whats goin on here and imo you have your hands tied by this Damien bloke
if he had a clue he would bring the site up to date in ability and looks
this place could actually generate money which go towards paying for itself AND prob go towards some prizes we could have thru out the year for certain comps
just little stuff, signed cards or a cap etc
we should be able to do this kind of stuff monthly

want to be a donating member? cool you get a bigger avatar and donating member badge and you get no ads on the site
not a donating member and you get to put up with a couple of ads
not going to be popular decision but it generates income to help pay for the hosting (its a no brainer)

got so many ideas buzzing around in the head it would take an hr to put it in a post
prob not worth it as the usual goodie too shoeses will have a winge that its fine the way it is why touch it i dont want to have to log in i dont want to see ads i want my bum wiped for me blach blah

wasn't referring to you at all.not in this thread anyway......pity you didn't return the favour...this little goodie two shoes does think that the site is fine...in so far it's run...don't have a a problem with you trying to improve the technical side of things ..never had....although it seems okay to me...
