Armo future captain?
Great performance today, one of hardly any positives, would be a great future captain if Roo has decided that he has had enough of it
Re: Armo future captain?
My only query on Armo is whether he has enough footy smarts to be the organising general you need as captain. I think he lacks a bit of vision and decision making skills. He's definitely leading by his efforts and intent this year. He might be a good place holder until Dunstan, Billings or Acres are ready to take on the responsibility.

Being told on twitter Cats massively into Geary and Armo being shopped around, so hold that thought

Re: Armo future captain?
We signed Arm to a 3 year deal last season, I seriously doubt we would now shop him around. Geary is out of contract this year so he is free to walk. Geelong would probably only give up a second rounder at best for him which doesn't help our cause a lot.SainterK wrote:Being told on twitter Cats massively into Geary and Armo being shopped around, so hold that thought

Being shopped around by his manager, not us...BringBackMadDog wrote:We signed Arm to a 3 year deal last season, I seriously doubt we would now shop him around. His last tweet on 6/6/14 simply read:
"Guys - I'm putting on the sub vest from @triplemfooty and @FOXFOOTY to recharge the batteries for 2-3 weeks. Back on deck shortly, Spud"

Well Armo cant go unless we want him to go. Geary isnt worth letting go as we would be lucky to get a late second rounder for him. Cant lose either because we dont have anyone in that age group.

Re: Armo future captain?
Sounds like Armo is a pretty safe bet to be the next skipper just from listening to AR on the footy show

Yeah saw that. He next tweet was concerning to me. I'm not all over the Newens hype but he attacked him and his kicking.
If there is one thing about Newens is that he is a great kick of the footy. One example of him making big statements without really watching teams closely.
