I don't agree on this point#gosaintas wrote:
There is a reason most opposition fans bag him and we all know what that is.
Opposition supporters used to be jeolous and mostly bag him because they saw Saints as a threat in finals. Now we are easy beats so opposition fans mostly recognise what a champion he is. He burst onto the scene as a champion of the St FC and the media has always paid homage. The CV from Riewoldt will no doubt also propel him to legend status in the future. Career highlights....AA, B&F awards etc
Trevor Barker Award 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009
All-Australian Team 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009
Leigh Matthews Trophy 2004
I know Collingwood fans were spewing that they din't get Nick with their forwards like Qstick dropping off and now Jesse White struggling and I know Essendon fans who are actually discussing their club signing him up because they also need a forward.
I heard earlier in the year tha Lenny was a great help for Luke Dunstan. Who are the players that Roo has spent time with at the club and which player has Roo assisted with development? I think he would've been happier and contributed more to a team that is finals bound rather than what he brings to us. We need a group that will feel like they are all equally contributing and learning and improving together. Not sure Rooy fits in

Clearly frustrated but this was not a good look for his younger team mates and simply not a good look for the St Kilda FC and its fans. I understand he's frustrated as the ball is not delivered to him as it should be but in my opinion he needs this not to become a trend.
This seriously is a non issue.

I think they cop it from all angles.
Media, coaching staff, fans, general footy public...
They are told they are wrecking him, unworthy of him.
Self fulfilling.
It's not just Roo spraying them, it's the aura that's become quite consuming.
We needed a new captain, so that its not arguably our greatest of all times and captain demanding the footy.
Don't need a new captain. Roo is the one for this year and next!

fact.
Although I dont expect many of the fanbois on here to take this well.
Lol I'm going to guess that this has no basis what so ever.
Re: Riewoldt Showing His Obvious Frustration
I suspect it is. Even Roo has acknowledged on a few occasions that he needs to get this out of his game.Spinner wrote:Old Mate wrote:I recall two occasions where Roo had the ball kicked over his head and then stood at a standstill and didn't turnaround and man the mark or chase his opponent.
