In the work rate guys, headed up by captain work rate.
Len, Simpkin, Bruce, Curren, Acres
You'll get effort and enthusiasm
Not sure hickey should be rushed, need to ensure his return is not short lived.

Well I guess a sub standard midfield and a coach who cant seem to motivate a team to be at the least competitive, does add up to crap as the results show us. There must be another St Kilda club going around that some of this forum are following where getting thrashed week after week is quite acceptable. I'll tolerate losses if the team is having a genuine crack during the games, but won't as a supporter tolerate waving the white flag before a game is over.dragit wrote:And having 3 less midfielders in the side will help?spert wrote:Midfield getting slaughtered week after week- solid? nahdragit wrote:So we drop 3 mids and a defender for a ruckman and 3 defenders?spert wrote:Not getting much out of Montagna, Steven, Ray, in general- not doing enough work, and should be doing a lot better, and their defensive games are poor- should get dropped if AR is fair dinkum about work ethic and playing for the jumper. Gwilt is very ordinary, and maybe Simpkin to come in, with Hickey, Fisher and Murdoch.
Solid.
You keep having a crack at the coach then throw up this crap, seriously…

Out: Gwilt, TDL, Dunnel
In: Just about anyone else apart from CJ
Regarding Joey, a few poor games does not make him on any hit-list.
Personally, I don't rate him anywhere near some of the others in the past decade-plus however he has about a gazillion credits in the bank.
It kind of irks me that Dal, BJ and Ball are elsewhere yet Joey is the one that is left standing...

Will be a cold, wet day in Hobart. Probably windy as well.sax wrote:Out: Steven (inj), Dennis-Lane, Dunnell, Gwilt, Longer, Dempster

Playing against a team that beat Hawthorn last week and a Defence that could afford to lose Luke Delaney.
Couldn't think of a worse game to debut young Spencer quite frankly. We'll be lucky to score 6 goals and he'd be lucky to get a kick

Richardson loves Ross but they should drop him not AFL Standard and too slow.

Against the Bulldogs at Etihad in a couple of weeks, would be a good start. A week earlier against Gold Coast could be another opportunity.
Yep. Agree. Why debut such a young guy in such circumstances. I felt for Blake Akers, getting his first game against the Hawks. Will be a cold, wet day in Hobart. Probably windy as well.
