Impressive.

Spoke about our list strategy and how he expected that our list would be even younger next year. Pretty much said we will hold on to all of our picks and try to secure as many picks inside the top 20 that we can, and that in 4 years time we will be ready to enter the free agency market.

When pressed about whether we would see trading out more experienced players, he responded by saying that you need to surround the young guys with experience......I wasn't that convinced.

Well by next season there will be no experienced players who are good enough, who would have enough shelf life to be traded.

Fisher: After this year of injuries no one would want.
Joey: now too old
Lenny: Probably only one year left...and it will not be at another club

Roo: Is the one icon the club would keep
Steven: Is young, and our only young star...so he is going nowhere.

I hope he corrected Robbo off air when Robbo when commenting on Bootsma said St Kilda had no choice but to sack him.

You might find Stanley and Gilbert offered up for trade. Eg a pick and gilbo for a lower pick in the 20s.

The old old brigade will have no value outside of the club as you have rightly pointed out.

This is spot on.

If you go through the list they would be the only ones worth any value that we would be willing to trade.

I would add Siposs but he hasn't done anything at all to attract a decent trade.

I dont think any of those 3 would get a trade or if they did it would be a high 30's pick for Gilbert. The other 2 would be closer to 100 than 40. They arent tradable. And Gilbert probably isnt worth trading. Apart from Steven, Armo and maybe Joey we probably dont have a 22 year and above player worth anything much at all.

Ox said is the debt 8 figures or soon to be - Finnis said he knew of a 6 million debt before taking the job.

This isn't good... We are in trouble big time financially. Luckily the competition is strong.

Is it just me in thinking that Slobbo was pathetically un-professional and down right rude during that interview. I thought The Ox & The Golfer were far more professional and balanced with their questions !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!
