Agree. Moves like a proper forward
I agree too. I thought he showed the benefit of playing a few games in a row and having a decent chance to adjust to the pace of the game.
Always looks a chance one out.

Little bit small in height for a key forward but may be able to compensate for that with his bodily strength and good footy smarts.

Stanley is playing terribly but im not sure Lee is doing much more in a lower cometition, its just we are lucky enough not to see him every week. And im 100% sure he cant ruck in the AFL. Maybe he gets a game because we have no choice but he doesnt decerve it. And didnt we have a thread on depth just 5 weeks ago? We dont have depth, we just have similar non AFL standard players at this stage but they will hopefully improve with experience.

Brucey will get a big look in as our key back for some time while Delaney recovers not sure who can come in perhaps Roberton.

I thought Sipposs did a bit last night he was far from disgraced.

Jonesy was shocking so Armo should come in and that will immediately make our midfield stronger.

Delaney (injured) and Jones replaced by Roberton and Armo.

Work in progress

2 changes:
Delaney injured, replaced by Roberton or Simpkin.
Weller concussion replaced by Armitage

Unfortunately with our injuries it doesn't leave a lot of scope for change. Someone will have to play a blinder for Sandringham to effect any more changes.

I know people want players dropped, but players must put their hand up in order to affect that change, and the opportunities are there as has been pointed out in this thread, but they must be taken, not, let's just try that player and see how he goes when he's not doing anything at Sandringham.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Webster should be back from his little indiscrection so he could come in and Delany will be out. If Armo got through the practice match he is in for CJ or Weller if he doesnt come up.

Spoke to Delaney this morning, seems to be fine, not limping or anything. he said he was a little bit sore, so I guess he'll be Test.

Not out of it yet

Someone suggested he had got drunk down in Tassie on his break and punched some guy in head and called his girlfriend a fat c%$#. Not confirmed though as it was on a rumour site and could be crap. The guy claimed he was a moderator and he witnessed it though.

Saunders in the best at sandy - maybe the small pressure forward role. Our forward line was like McDonalds last night - easy for the fast get away, drive through exit.

Thanks, fair enough even if partly true then.

I don't think in this age of social media it's unreasonable to claim it as true though and rubbish his reputation with out fact checking. His Schnieder man interview didn't make him look like an angel though either. He sounded like <edited by mods at the request of a poster who was personally impacted by the actions of the person mentioned>

Is it port next week? I wonder if they'll look at savage we will need some speed. Armo in if ok. I'd like to see Saunders he's a trier just needed a break. Webster back perhaps need his rebound Sounds like Delaney will miss. Jones isn't giving us anything a young player couldn't. Schneider whinges too much when he's not getting the footy. Drop one of Ross or murdoch or else we will be too slow.

INS:
Armo
Simpkin (I still don't reckon Roberton's ankle is right)
OUT:
Weller (concussion)
Delaney (hip - seems to be something wrong there, and as he's so important to our backline, I say get him right).

- Stanley to do more rucking and be put on notice to start imposing himself.
- Longer not taking marks, but very nearly held a couple of strong pack marks last night... and how many overhead marks did their ruckmen take? I could well be wrong, but I didn't notice a single one.
- Schneids... on notice.
- Dunney and Saunders next cabs off the rank.
- Sippa (played well IMHO, not sure why some criticised him last night :? ), Jack B and Tezza (you've been good... even tackling nowdays! :D )... keep presenting... regardless... hopefully we will eventually take the best option, c/f the best credentialed option. NB to Sainters... there is a key difference between those two terms.
- Lee. I rate him highly, but I wouldn't play him till he's had time to build up his fitness and strength... I still reckon that Lee and Spenc-arrrh should stop playing any footy for at least six weeks, and just hit the gym and the running track.

Out:
Jones
Ray
Stanley

In:
Armo
Webster
Lee

That's providing there are no injuries.

Stanley needs to be dropped. Unsure about the Ross bashing going on here - stats the same as Steven, should he be dropped too?

Time and time again Ray coughs it up to the opposition. I just can't handle it anymore.

Get Webster down back and bring Newnes into midfield if need be. Thought he was terrific last night.

Maybe. He just doesn't get it enough. Maybe Roo has to play up the ground so that the players can look for him instead.

just shows stats are a bit misleading. Joey had huge stats but he was putrid.
but still too early to give up on ross just yet.

agree with those ins and yep Newnes is a beauty. One of our better players consistently.

In: Dunnell, Armitage, Lee & Maister

Out: Longer, Schneider, Delaney & Billings

Longer & Schneider out on form.
Delaney injured
Billings rest.

Stanley last chance to play 1st Ruck.
Maister to relieve in ruck as required.
Dunnell replace Schneider and play lead up role.
Lee & Maister take pressure off Roo, we will finally have some collective marking power up forward.

Why are people crapping on Stanley and Siposs?

They play forward in a team with terrible skills and no confidence.

How does anyone expect them to succeed?

More of the aforementioned and they will begin to produce better. Simple really.
