Would be nice. Let's hope Gilligan's love for this pathetic team isn't at Dimwit's level.

He's not coming and we would be stupid to even consider it.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Looks like this is the week he has stopped sooking!
But what about next week?

Richmond will probably tout Jack the sook as their best full forward since Roach after today. No doubt he'll kick a couple more bags of goals but against the weaker teams.

Yeah, don't think they'll develop as quickly as the other lovechild. The difference being that they didn't get a player that has the caliber of the born-again-baldy.

Well, I could think of better ways to spend our first round pick and 800K per year.

He can play, but he's certainly not right for us, we wouldn't be chasing him seriously as he's signed up till 2017.

As compensation they'll prob get a PP at the end of this year. They need some more 1st round picks don't they?

I think if we could get him, we should. Don't know how but that's Pech's job

He is one of if not the best forward in the league... we could draft 10 more forwards and not get one as good as he is. Put him in our forward line and build a structure around him.

On one hand, we don't need another Riewoldt running the club. On the other, there's no question Jack is being underused at Richmond.

Methinks it's more likely Hardwick will get sacked for that reason, though. Senior players questioning the game plan is not a good look.

If Rooy was running the club then we would still have GT or RL as coach. I dont know where people get these ideas unless of course you have heard something i certainly havent.

P66, you can take things too literally when you choose to. I mean that N. Riewoldt has too many people (players and officials) in his thrall. It would be difficult to deny that he demands the ball even when he's triple teamed, that he throws hissy fits when the delivery isn't lace out (though his own delivery isn't crash hot), and that he earns a SC-straining salary for his trouble. All of which isn't to dispute that he's a great player.
+1
Nick's delivery to team mates is very poor.
Handballs to the feet of or team mates standing still.

As opposed to the excellent delivery he gets. He actually a very good field kick but sometimes does hanball poorly. Still I would have him over just about every single player on our list.

Only because of age the 2 jacks.

Which players would you say are the guilty ones of poor delivery to Nick?
