Toby Greene
Thought this guy might be worth chasing last year when out of form - is in form this year but now in I trouble with the law - is this a good time to go for him? Would we want him ? I recon he is a ball magnet and what we need for the future of our midfield
.. What would it take to get him given his current situation ?

Re: Toby Greene
Agree. Just what we need. While we're at it I believe Andrew Lovett has been a good boy and may deserve another chance. Would add some much needed speed and skill.
Seriously, lets leave the knuckleheads alone. No good can come from it. Just ask Vossy.

Re: Toby Greene
Be a great get.
Sounds like he and GWS area t war. Will want to leave and we could get him fora second rounder.
Good replacement for Lenny or Joey.
We could then trade Armitage and get another first rounder

Agreed. With our history of cleanskins, would we want to spoil our image with toby?

Re: Toby Greene
Could just as easily compare him to Franklin as Lovett in fact i would think his misdemeanors are much more akin to Franklins than Lovetts - are you also saying you wouldn't want Franklin ??8856brother wrote:Agree. Big night for the lad. All he needed to do was get nude pictures of himself on the interwebs and having a shot at a schoolgirl and he would be up to the saints standardCon Gorozidis wrote:Has Franklin ever been charged with any criminal offence ever?saint6709 wrote:Could just as easily compare him to Franklin as Lovett in fact i would think his misdemeanors are much more akin to Franklins than Lovetts - are you also saying you wouldn't want Franklin ??8856brother wrote:Agree. No thanks. I think he's a bit overrated. Yes, he's a ball magnet, but he's not a great user of the pill. Added to that, he has a reputation of being a bit of a knob, which has been confirmed this week. In racing parlance, "prefer others".

The kid is a peanut. Buddy is a star and yet to be charged with assault with a weapon. Would go alright in our forward line.saint6709 wrote:Could just as easily compare him to Franklin as Lovett in fact i would think his misdemeanors are much more akin to Franklins than Lovetts - are you also saying you wouldn't want Franklin ??8856brother wrote:Agree. A bit of a knob? Would that be a little bit or a BIG bit. I've heard he ain't all that compliant with drinking restrictions on players either !!White Winmar wrote:No thanks. Interesting 11th post. What's your point? I would have said "our" standard without even thinking. But that's just me.NeXtmess-stringer wrote:Big night for the lad. Re: Toby Greene
No thanks, he is a mouthy arrogant flog on the field and it would appear a clown off it as well.
Not to mention the fact that his skills are terrible, turnover king.

BTW - I am highlighting the hypocricy to not want a bloke because of a scandal. We all supported Milne for ten years and he has charges and a court case hanging over his head. Our club sets fire to dwarfs, draft players who then get accused of rape and never play for us, and all sort of other poor behaviour.
I have even read here how right we were not to draft Cousins. probably cost us the 2009 flag.
If you are inferring I am a troll, be upfront and say it. You may not have noticed but it is only recently that you could register on here. I am a Saints supporter and have opinions.
Didn't know I had to ALWAYS refer to the STKFC as if it was part of the family.
