I reckon we have only got a 50/50 chance in 4 out of the total games remaining. Assume we might win 1-2 of those which leaves us at 4-5 wins. As a worst case scenario I think if we don't get back a few hardened bodies or if we lose anymore harden bodies then I think we might struggle to win again this season which will leave us stranded on 3 wins.

I predicted before the season started that the Wooden spoon is a two horse race between us and the Lions...I can't see things changing. Of the Lions 7 remaining home games GWS is probably the only one they've got a real chance at winning and maybe WCE if they don't get a wriggle on. But otherwise they probably will only win one or two more.

Melbourne still have GWS, Lions, Dogs and Richmond to play and you would think they will pick up a win or two their so I'm predicting they will be above us at seasons end.

GWS still have Lions, Dees, Dogs and Tigers to play so could pick up another win or two so I'm predicting they will will be above us at seasons end.

Tigers still have Dees, GWS twice, Us, Lions, Bombers twice and WCE so I'm predicting they will get a wriggle on in the second half of the season and definitely be above us at seasons end.

Feel like where at a real tipping point of the season, where confidence took a monster hit against Hawks, and crawled back a little competitivness against a far inferior team in the blues...With the Suns, if they play as well as they can and really maul us by 40+ points (unthinkable after the Essendon Win), then we'll really go into the bye with low confidence and maybe only another 1 win after the bye could be realistic...

I feel is we put in a really good showing against the Suns (and they are a good matchup for us at Etihad), then it could shape how the back half of the season goes. maybe 3 wins wouldnt be out of the question and a 16th or 15th spot could be achievable.

For our future, getting pick 1 would be exciting. Another wooden spoon wont make me feel good though. Hopefully we keep competing. Losing wont necessarily
'scar" our youngsters. Losing in the manner we did to The Hawks a few more times might. Being real competitive, but losing, to good sides might actually give them some confidence. Regardless each week I'm hoping for a Saints victory.

As long as we don't lose many more in the same fashion as we did against Hawthorn, we should be okay in terms of rebuilding and keeping younger player confidence intact. If we take a belting to the teams in the top four, so be it. They are just in another league. As long as we remain competitive against the others, I couldn't care less where we finish. I'm guessing somewhere in the bottom three, which may work in our favour in terms of high draft picks.

Bottom four is a certainty. The Lions, Dees, GWS and us will be bottom four. The Dees seem to be improving understanding Roos' gameplan more by the week and I believe the Lions will win a few at home with their home ground advantage. They are coming a way back though with only the one win. Our percentage may see us go below GWS but hard to get a gauge on where they are at. Definitely most out of form team along with us.

Before the season started I had us beating Melbourne (tick), GWS (tick), Brisbane (cross), Gold Coast (probable cross), West Coast (50/50) and Footscray (probable cross).

So I see 6 wins (15th) dwindling down to 3 or 4 wins (17th) by seasons end (god I hope we beat West Coast in Round 14!) and I have my fingers firmly crossed that Brisbane don't win any more than 3 matches, otherwise we will be adding to our kitchen cutlery again!
