Was a bit worried about our forward line this year, and I'm in no doubt that it's no Roo, no forward line. No defensive pressure whatsoever from our forwards

That could have been a lot worse - reckon we fought back well - not alot you can do when they are pinpointing passes and moving it quickly like they were in the first 15 mins

Sam Mitchell hamstring. Nothing serious but out of the game. Hartung on.
Roo a bit sore too.

No brainer for a coach- just tell your players to "man-up"...never seen so many loose opposition players nowhere near a Saint.

23 down at 1/4 time... Started to get control of the ball late in first... Efforts of a few keeping us out of the game though... Need to tighten up.. Fact they keep having 2-3 guys in their forward line means something has to change and some aren't working hard enough

We could try to stop fumbling when we get our chance.

We have only had 3 less scoring shots than them

Here comes the rain - could work in our favour

Only 8 tackles that quarter - should get a few more now

Stick with the man inside 50 would be a massive start.. And not bombings to 3 hawks 0 saints in our 50

If we can fix that the game will even out.. But need guys like longer gwilt savage even Steven to work harder and smarter. Yes we will prob lose but have a sense of pride
