Wake up fellas!
Well done Jones - first to the ball and draws the free.
This says it all. Intensity, clean with the ball, first to the ball. What happened to spread and run of last week. getting 22 points in a half of footy is poor but letting the bottom side get 53 is disgusting when its done so easily at times.

Get back to the basics your coach expects from you guys.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Unless fumbling, spraying the ball and letting your man play well is playing well.

You must be watching a different game or just letting your bias rule your senses

30k at Etihad makes us about $0, doesn't it? And I think the NZ game makes us $500k. Big difference there!

Big question is, can we play any better?

Props to the lions pressure. Every time we link up some play a desperate lion gets a hAnd in. They r everywhere. Shows how much we rely on rooey. Stop him and we struggle to score.

We've got to get over the safe haven approach of Etihad Stadium. We need to be able to say any day, any place.

We need to up the forward pressure to stop the simple run by Brisbane fro defence. This would be a tart to repairing this. The secon part is not to give it back to them so easily by poor disposal efficiency. Okay we also need to protect the ball carrier to get them the time to dispose the ball correctly.

Any time there is a loose ball, they are there in numbers.

Flat as a tack.

Two six day breaks and we are flat, flat after trip to Perth earlier in the season.

Adam Basil got a rap last week but we have no run whatsoever, so is it Brisbanes extra two days or have we again not been able to get up?

Four goals is nothing but we can't hit the side of a bus by hand or foot, can't mark and can't keep our feet.

Four goals down the worst team in the comp. If it was at Etihad, we'd be up. I guess we're doomed to these s*** experiments in nowheresville.

Comes down to effort by the players. Don't care if its ugly for a while but get the contested footy back or Richo will have to make changes quickly in the third quarter. No point sitting on a player effort if they don't deliver. Will need a change up look to get this back.

I reckon the next half will determine who stays in and who gets dropped.

Effort needs to be there from about 7 players.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Good teams win on the road. It shows us where we are at as a team atm. A fair way off.

Hickey did a nice header in the goal square uncontested 5m out

Not sure he's touched it?

People who sing his praises should watch him a bit closer.

Boys seem off tonight, just an oposit of last weeks attack and pressure. I am hoping Ritcho really hammers in the room with what this means. If I was in the room I would make them all watch ww1 and ww2 footage to get their heads together. Hope a different Saints team comes out for the 3rd

Keeping our feet a major issue.

Looking at the worm each quarter had a brief period where they were able to score three on the trot. Outside of that it's pretty flat.

It's never over at half time. Learnt that in a game against Hawthorn the Timid coached. Lets see what Richo can do?

MacEvoy did that with his first touch in AFL football. Did you apply the same critic to him????

Better than us on the road. More focused. More mature. More desperate.

Hayes dunstan Monty Saunders Steven need to win more clearance. Once lions get it to the outside we r screwed. Ricoh will talking possession tooth. We're breaking down on the half forward line and the rebound is putting defence under huge pressure. Dempster billings outstanding. Hayes working hard but not using footy well with lions pressure. Hopefully roo will blowup his defender and start getting some separation. Stanley barely touched It. This is yr night savage!!
