How will you feel if the Essendon process fails to gather any evidence and they don't receive any infraction notices and don't receive any penalties and Saad gets two years for an energy drink or protein shake as a show of strength? Because that is a distinct possibility and even a likelihood at this stage.

Get ready then. THey don't seem to have any actual evidence of Essendon players thaking PEDs. Lot's of suspicion, but no evidence.

Saad was an open and shut case. The two are not the same.

the Saad thing is kind of like the cops pursuing a minor shoplifting charge to a ridiculous extent, when they could concentrate their time (remember cops spend lots of time on paperwork) on home invasions, assaults, etc

Here in WA, if your home is burgled, there is a 5% chance that the cops will even come out.
They tell you to come into your nearest station and fill out a statement.
Home invasions are a scream, ring them on a Saturday and they might come out on the Tuesday for a quick chat.
Like a Third World country.
One of my mates had a bloke quietly jemmy open a front window (he has a huge house, thief prob thought would be easy), Joe whacked him 8 times with a baseball bat, guy was unconscious, when the cops came, Joe had placed a big kitchen knife next to the guy's hand, cops went "self-defence" haha but that was one of the rare times that a cop attended. They were in the area patrolling, by coincidence.
