Not sure if we should be expecting White to be ready for seniors yet as a young key forward, I just hope his attitude is in the right place.

Right. 10 or 11 touches in a solid win was pretty disappointing. Not really surprising he was dropped, but a couple of injuries to the AFL side should find him a spot this week. Holmes down to the 3s and maybe Minch stays down.

I would keep Holmes in he is taking huge steps every week and I think he will be a player. He gets to contests and is in a lot of the play. Watch the footage of Acres, he's getting in the right spots and gets his hand in even when not marking or taking possession, and he has some really good quality ruck work. I would put some money on him playing senior footy next year.

would be good to see Holmes start to grab a few marks. but his tap work looks awesome for where he is at.
Markworth has elite speed and a good user so can see him on the wing and half forward flank for us.

Surely if you can't work out what a reply is in relation to.... You do t need to respond?

Spencer played nearly every game in the VFL seniors last year....

Given that development, a demotion a pre season later is not a step in the right direction IMO

Particularly with Maister out

Agreed, but could it be that due to structure in the Sandy games (with Lee and other forwards) it is better for him to play in the dev. squad so he can work on what he needs to as the focal forward?

No idea if that's true, just a thought.

Surgery followed by injury disrupted his pre season and as such what he did last year is not that relevant IMO

Markworth played some blinders in the preseason when he returned from injury and nows he's had a couple of shockers. This is pretty much the norm for a player coming back from 12 months off footy. He'll be pulling up a lot sorer than the average player and will take time to get his body right. We probably wont see him at his best until mid season IMO.

I exercise in the park down the road from Willy Oval on a Saturdays.

Will get there early tomorrow and get up to the dev squad for at least the first half.

So it is Baker-Thomas, Markworth,Mich and White yeah?

Anyone know their numbers, Know White and Mich, have only seen Markworth on TV and wouldn't know Baker-thomas if I fell over him.

If I can identify them I may be able to give the forum something.

Wanted to charge $10 to get in. Stuff that, can see from the fence.

Anyway no Markworth, no Michinton,, no Holmes, Baker Thomas I think in No13 didn.t get near it in the first quarter,

White, not many opportunities, first couple on minutes took a nice contested mark on the wing, hit the ground, ran away from his opponent, took two bounces and then shanked it directly to the full back.

Led under the ball a couple of times, other times made good position for the ball to sail over his head.

Got bored after 25 minutes and went to Williamstown for coffee
