Has been a very solid player for us but his time is up. This year is all about development so Clint Jones should not play again until if/when we have been decimated by injuries.

That Jobe Watson and Goddard should be stood aside for some of the kids too. It's embarrassing that Essendon has finally lost their magic drug power and now struggles to even compete. maybe the coach should stop eating sandwiches and come up with a game plan.

The problem has always been with Clinton, and Farren, is that as players they won't hurt you. They do ok getting the ball but you can feel the relaxation from the opposition when the ball is in their hands. We want to move to a Hawthorn/Geelong style list where every player has the skills to inflict damage and the opposition is always under pressure. Clinton will keep getting games this year because he works his backside off and does the team things. But you want him to get forced out with better skilled players who can still do the shut down and mop up roles he does.
