oh when the wrote:Lindsay saved the club in the 80s
By not having to pay anyone due to his "scheme of arrangements", oh yeah, and he also chipped in to paint the Gym...

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

So he did, he didn't?

Don't really care.... When struggling more a sponsor over the years... Why hasn't he put fwd his company as major sponsors?

Suggestions about behind the scenes stuff is just speculation mostly...

Rather him do that that invite ex players around to his mansion for a bbq and go to the game with them

How did that make much money for StK?

Why is that?!
Because Wasteaway, our thank god now gone inept ex- President had him turfed off the board.

Amongst other things Gerry paid for the mobile altitude room...to get Roo right amongst other player.

Whats until now Tony? has he dug deep into his pockets?

Mr. Fox will only put money in if he sees a return. There is a lot more to play out re Junction Oval.

I wish people weren't so quick to bag others and learn the history of the club and what has gone on instead of just presuming. These same people are probably the people who think we are Saint Kilda. Fair dinkum, do your research before you mouth off. And for gods sake, put your money where your mouth is.

Well Orica is the major sponsor, but Gerry did guarantee the GreenEdge cycling team to the tune of $10 million a year when it was set up.

He's put plenty of money into St Kilda and Sandy over the years.

I remember a St Kilda Football Club Ball at Tudor Lodge many years ago. It was Geoff Cunningham's first year and pretty much nobody spoke to the young kid from Ballarat. We had a great night chatting about pretty much nothing, but we both agreed the fat bloke on the main table in the $2,000.00 Italian suit still just looked like a fat truckie.

Lindsay only looks after Lindsay. Stealing beaches from the people of Victoria. He may have saved StKFC back in the day, but it was not his money that did it. It was the supporters and the unfortunate creditors, including the players, who copped the financial whack!

Are you hearing about a certain commercial venture being built by Mr Fox near our new proposed training venue, aswell Tony?
Great idea if the club reaps some $$$$ from it.

But still doesn't answer the question

Giving bits a pieces of cash occasionally is nice.... And surely appreciated.

But a MAJOR sponsorship would ensure the financial security of the club.

Linfox, Jayco (who a the sponsors of Casey Scorpions and have been since 2007) and another major group would be nice

Why should he sponsor us?
Why not?

I would think Jayco would get better exposure at StKilda than Casey... More bang for their buck

And Gerry would really be important at StK

It was sacasm. As you obviously know i agree with you about where the club trains. Surely you smile occassionly and dont take everything so serious. As for your last question I doubt anyone on here would know but you would hope it helps otherwise they are wasting money.

Well there you go?

Told you I know little about this sort of stuff?...

They should piss off the VFL and be a major StK sponsor.... And be a beneficiary of pur 2018 premiership?!
