Don't just make going to the footy a place to sit down and watch a game and go home.. Make a St Kilda home game, an "event" more then just a footy game. An Experience.. This is a start.
What Clarky said!
And as Eastern points out... those little kiddies will hopefully grow-up to be proper Animal Enclosure members.
Does anyone know who's behind the revamp of our marketing and promotions section? They are on a roll!

The Animal Enclosure is dead.
Though it lives on in my memories.
Time has moved on.
Much of the language and comments would now be deemed inappropriate and would see you escorted out of Jihad.
People dressed up as pantomine horses
Just let it die.
We don't HAVE to Americanise everything.
The day they play Hernandos Hidaway on a hammond organ during a stoppage is the day I give up footy.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

The terrible music and advertising they pipe at fever pitch before and after each quarter is almost as bad. Why can't they just let the F'ing crowd make all the noise!
Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!
Hi all I have a question. I'm now a long time Perth based supporter but i lived in Melbourne as a 14 year old schoolboy in 1970. We had season tickets (not membership) which got you access to a fenced off area between the wing and half forward flank on the members side (ie it wasn't general admission). I loved it in there surrounded by drunks all standing on the empty four packs that they went through each quarter. Was that the animal enclosure??

Yes
Players race on the left.
Umpires race on the right.

Riewoldt bears a striking resemblance to an alpacas.

Curious , i ventured into that area few times but found nothing but a group of hardcore supporters who didn't mind giving oppostion players a hard time .
I was never shocked by anything said , often seeing the humour in many of the comments .
It was good to be surrrounded by passionate supporters .
Now on the weekend there bringing back the animal enclosure !
The club want people to come ( probably kids ) dressed as an animal .
Sh ite like this makes me want to vomit .
Surely they are Joking !
Are there any original animal enclosure alumni who are offended that there legacy is being re-invented ?
