Special mention for Stanley stepped up in qtr 4 to contest well in the ruck. Worth perservering with
not real sure about that 1st sentence
they will smash a lot of teams soon enough.
He is a special footballer .......our captain
So you reckon 27 first round dps are enough chook.
Only one of three champion Saints players I have seen, other two Lockett, and Harvey
Lance or James??

No Maister copped it last week as well.
In isolation I can see why supporters would bronx cheer him. But look at our last goal, Beau took out both defenders and the ball spilled to a free Jones who shanked it to Eli.
Valuable up forward. Milne would be leading the goal kicking if he was still playing under Maisters feet
Lance or James??

And what about those of us who ARE NOT there? We are an absolute disgrace (mind you, I am working today ). Crowd just under 20,000 - pathetic.
Anybody questioning the decisions behind recruiting and pre-season trades please go through the thought processes before posting. Celebrate a good win and keep the rubbish of f this thread.

I couldn't make it today Trev, so I'm a disgrace according to you. Why didn't you take a day off work if you are so avid?????
Lance or James??

Half the skill but twice the intensity of last night's blockbuster. Fantastic backs to the wall win. Hickey's injury almost did us in, but our defence was fantastic. Great win, I'm stoked!

Seriously I just can't fathom people who bag Maister. The Bronx cheers are not funny just disgraceful.
The bloke is a blue collar working class player. Should be a crowd favourite for his efforts.
Id have rocked up but it's a bastard of a trip from Oregon.
Seriously great win from the side. The future on display and Roo playing out of his skin again. Fairly weak opposition in fairness but the season doesn't look so bleak after all

Just take the mark on the lead when it hits you on the tit and all will be good..
At this level at least take the mark like a lead up forward should ...
Two weeks and dropping sitters ..
Hello Billy Longer ...
Jack Newnes happy to be a Saint !!!! PS and to hit a target !!!

Zero chance of that. Beau was better this week than last, I reckon. Playing his role to an OK level, he could improve but Longer's not even close to a replacement for him.

was a rollercoaster... great day warm roof open... few more orange tops poping up the crowd... crowd was a little light but hey couldn't see 30k sainters rolling up. overall great day and very happy the team lifted when needed to take the win. GWS really came for a game.
The Saints were bruised and battered after the win over the Giants, with many sporting ice and injuries in the rooms after the game.
Sam Gilbert was treated for a rolled ankle, Tom Hickey for a problem with the bottom of his foot and Lenny Hayes was icing both calves after his first game for the season.
Coach Alan Richardson said recovery was going to be paramount this week ahead of their long flight to Perth.
