Might as well take the spoon now! Decision making and disposals still our biggest weaknesses.

Saints either fumble fall over or turn it over .
Loooong season ahead ....
Are we really going to have to put up with this type of moaning all season.
Heres a tip to all the internet warriors - we are a team in transition. We will be poor a lot of the time.
For your own sanity concentrate on the positives.
1) Longer and Hickey doing a good job in the ruck.
2) Webster having a real crack
3) the commentators love Dunstan.
4) Jimmy Gwilt could not possibly play worse
Totally agree. the thing I find funny is some people say we will struggle badly but then get upset because we arent any good.[/quote]
Plugger piping in as usual to get a sledge in.
What a <edit by mods> smoker you are plugger.
Yes we are going to be bottom and yes im going to be pissed off everytime we lose.

Re: saints v gws
Expectations have dropped signicantly. Yes it's a practice match but we look awful.
Disposal is laughable. No use winning contested possessions when you just turn it over.
There is nothing here that gives me hope.Last season for Gwilt, Maister and Ray.

In 3 years gws will be unbeatable.
Completely unbeatable.
Our ability to handball at the feet is impressive.
Must have been a training drill. Very accurate at the feet.

Con what the hell did I say that would make you say that crap? Its nearly impossible to beleive one simple comment would get that reaction. I love our club but we are no good. It happens to most clubs.

We lost to GWS in the pre-season last year, but not this badly. Some worrying signs.
Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!

God this place is going to be insufferable this season.
We do you people expect. We were poor that quarter, but to listen to the people on here saying we wont win a game for the year is really really pathetic.
We have a very young team on the field, we are just getting smashed.
The team will look a bit different in a couple of weeks..
Yes we will be in bottom four this year and there will be time when we get absolutely smashed, but to base how we will go in our whole season one one game on a wind day in Wagga is bordering on hysterical.
Get over yourselves otherwise I fear for your mental health this season.
Lance or James??

Re: saints v gws
For those of you that missed it last time - welcome to the 80's.
Today shows the impact the injury of just one player can make to a poor side - i.e. Jack Steven.

So if it is like the 80's will you and the rest drop off, or just piss and moan?
Sometimes I think Saints fans enjoy being crap and being victims.
Still I don't care how bad we are, that term was disgraceful, as bad as I have seen since the days of Timmy

Exactly. Some on here are obviously that young they dont know how bad it can get or has been. Seriously some of you need to harden up. If you dont you wont be following anyone in 10 years when we arent in the AFL. Its been much worse than this. Won lose or draw stick with the friggin club. And to those who are upet with people saying stuff like this go into the bathroom and have a good look at yourself and ask one question. Do you follow the Saints through thick and thin or are you some soft supporter who demands success like some spoilt kid.

If he is rated so highly why isn't he playing against last years wooden spooners?chook23 wrote:We have young players but not many high draft picks...................

Billings rated highly though
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!
