What positives do we take out of tonights game ?

I thought there were some good signs but the conditions may have hurt some of our players .
Jones , ray , stanley , lane , meister as experienced players were very average .

How bad were the conditions? I don't take much notice of score in these games,just blowing out the cobwebs really,but with so many youngsters playing it sounds encouraging.....was it?

I thought that for a team with a new coach, lots of new players, and in the wet, we did well. The 1st quarter was terrible, but they responded nicely from the second quarter and fought the game out. The Dogs are more experienced, and have a more settled look about them. So, lots to work on, but some good signs.

The dogs also had a very young side and both sides played in the same conditions.

Us and the doggies are pretty similar .

Bit tough on Meister. Presented well, often outnumbered and suffering from bad delivery. Doesn't hesitate to throw his body in.

This year has got to be Stanley's last chance, how long do you persist with a 200cm athlete when he clearly does not have the skills.

Templeton will be the first one promoted from the rookie list; even before Weller.

You do of course realise that Scharanberg was a private school kid in South Australia !

Going on your theory both Judd and Ball must be too soft as well as they were from private schools and good city clubs.

Have seen Billings play on a number of occasions and he is not soft and if he stays injury free will be a gun. First game in terrible conditions, give the kid a chance for crying out loud.
