Well I'd never thought about it but seems it does go current players then traded then drafted in terms of numbers.
Might explain TDL getting pick 8...
So I guess
5 - Savage
15 - Longer
21 - Delaney
23 - Bruce
26 - Billings
27 - Dunstan
36 - Acres
39 - Templeton
40 - Weller
What I would like
5 - Billings
15 - Acres
21 - Longer
23 - Bruce
26 - Savage
27 - Dunstan
36 - Delaney
39 - Templeton
40 - Weller

Nettlefold apparently wore 47. More recently Simpkin had it for his first couple of years on the rookie list, didn't play a game in it though.

Not sure why we keep awarding low numbers to fringe ring-ins…
TDL - 8
now Savage at 5
I would prefer to see the guys taken in the first round given low numbers than these guys…

Have a cry Terry jeepers... Both TDL and savage were in & out of a side that won the flag, that's what fringe means.
Savage basically came free in the McEvoy deal... We all hope he becomes a solid player, same as TDL last year.
The chances of Billings becoming a star are higher than Savage IMO... That's all, same gies for Lee over TDL.
