Webster's brother
I remember some talk about webster's younger bro...perhaps not as classy as jimmy but still plenty of prospects...anyone know where this kid is at and if he is a chance for afl / joining his bro at the mighty saints? I've loved what I've seen of jimmy and reckon sometimes brothers can bring the best out of each other in the same team..
Also any update on weller??

Webster is likely to get a spot on a rookie list somewhere, unlikely it will be St Kilda though...
As for Weller, he wasn't picked up by anybody as a delisted free agent which means that nobody wants him on their senior list, puts us in a good position because unless GWS or Melbourne pick him he will be available at our pick. Really hope we take him, I think he has a lot to offer.

By definition, that is how you get to be a rookie and so it applies 100% of any possible choices.oldie60 wrote:A bit of a worry if no one bothered to pick Weller.
There is no one we can rookie who is not already a Saint that all other clubs "have not bothered to pick:.

Bulldogs were also looking at Weller as a Rookie, or at least that was what one of the Daily Rags were saying last week....Armoooo wrote:Webster is likely to get a spot on a rookie list somewhere, unlikely it will be St Kilda though...

I know annoying isn't it, there only advantage over us IMO is the fact they had access to Wallis & Libba..SaintPav wrote:Bulldogs...pffff.

That's because the WB have been media darlings for years - and not just the H-Sun. One of the reasons I have no time for the WB at allSaintPav wrote:Bulldogs...pffff.

Good luck to the young fella. Hopefully he stars, then crosses over to us in a couple of years.

Re: Webster's brother
i find it funny and quiet typical of SS that you ask why we didnt get him before asking if he is any good ...bigcarl wrote:Damn. Why didn't we get him. Is he any good?

Yeah I knew someone would point that out.st_Trav_ofWA wrote:i find it funny and quiet typical of SS that you ask why we didnt get him before asking if he is any good ...bigcarl wrote:Damn. Why didn't we get him. Is he any good?
It's just that I remember it being said on here that he's better than Jimmy, even that he would be the best player to come out of Tasmania.
I found it hard to believe at the time. Now I'm hoping that it is way off the mark.
