OK experts. Nearest the pin for the draft.
You've read the profiles. You've watched the highlight clips. You've studied the phantom drafts. Time to put your expertise to the test. Let's see who can get nearest the pin with their predictions. We oly have another 24 hours to wait for confirmation. I'll go first.
Pick 3 - Billings
Pick 18 - Hartung
Pick 19 - Garlett
Pick 3 - Billings
Pick 18 - Hartung
Pick 19 - Garlett
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

I'm tipping him as a pelican special. A mixture of what I've heard and the Pelican's MO. Plus Bruce Eva reckons we've lost interest. A very unconvincing attempt at deflection.

Billings will be 3 and Curren will be 83. No idea about the others.

cannot see the WCE not picking Sheed ... so i highly doubt he will come our way ... as for Cripps i dunno if the club would have enough faith to pick another Cripps after the last one ran home as soon as he could ...bobmurray wrote:Billings

I really want to fit Dumont into there, I am so keen on two of Acres, Dunstan or Dumont, actually like Dumont the best but think Dunstan is more likely which is far from a bad outcome. I've also warmed to Billings from Aish, but Scharenberg could now be in the box seat. Not one of the names in my post would actually disappoint me.
Hopefully the initials of Billings, Acres and Dunstan isn't a sign of the quality of our drafting this year

its funny how a kid like Barass has slipped out of talk ... at the start of the year he was in the top 15 or so now most phantoms dont have him in the top 30

Re: OK experts. Nearest the pin for the draft.
Personally I would be pissed off if we blow 19 on Garlett ... The kid can play but we could of taken him with pick 99 last year .... He has improved this year no mistake but not enough to warrant pick 19 ... If we had a live pick in the 30's sure but we don't ...evo wrote:Pick 3 - Scharenberg

So hard to know who will still be there by pick 18. I would love to get Dumont but I'm predicting he will be gone by the time we get to 18.
