Pretty normal injury to have at that age.
Ill be happy with Billings but hes closer to a Steve Motlop or Marc Murphy than a Steve Johnson.
He will never be as big mean or tough as Stevie J.
Might be as skilful.
He has supposedly grown to 185 from much smaller a year ago. and was at around 78kgs that's a fair way towards Johnson who be about 186cm and 85 kgs at a guess. He should be a big kid.

Stevie J is 189cm and 92kg .
As I said I am happy with Billings. Looks awesome.
I just dont think Stevie J seems like an accurate comparison.
Steve Motlop is an absolute gun and 183cm.
No shame in that comparison.
I take the growth rumours with several grains of salt the week before the draft.
He aint gonna be Stevie J size.

I think he could still grow bigger and is pretty solid for his age. I actually don't get that much Stevie J either to be honest. He's kind of more like a Schnieder. Lovely kick and great setting up others for goal too, good vision etc. Strong marking out in front on a lead and accurate goal kicker.
Con Gorozidis wrote:I still say Billings is a mid. Only went fwd in 2013 he had bursitis.
Slight topic change but if pick 19 comes to Hartung id rather Garlett.
Why ?
Garlett is a better footballer than Hartung.
If it was not for the "risk factor" he would be 5-10 pick. We could take the chance ahead of Hawthorn/North in what shapes as an ordinary draft this year, but what would I know?

I was a big wrap for Garlett but I'm off him as we only have the three picks and so much good talent should still be available with less risk. We need to probably assess who we have as different types and what would suit our needs.
Outside mids;
Steven (inside /outside)
Saunders(inside /outside)
Joey
Inside mids;
Jones
Armo
Lenny
Ross
Possible mids:
Milera
Wright
Murdoch
Geary
Newnes
Ray
To me we don't have a lot of outside class with out Dal. I'm thinking the players we will look at will be classy running outside on ballers so guys like Hartung, but also Kelly if he is still available might suit us better.

That comment was made when Saints and Hawthorn were raffling the 2 Luke's (Bal and Hodge). Everyone wrote off Hodge due to OP but Ball also suffered this the following years in his last school season of footy.
Interestingly, Judd was dropped like a hot cake due to future risk with the shoulder reconstructions.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Dont be fooled or put off by stressies in his foot.
Who cares if he doesnt play round 1 next year.
Have you seem him play much Con? What type of player is he? Would he be a good fit for us?
Good fit ?
Que ?
You have something to add Nelson Muntz or just playing the man as usual?
Do you have an opinion on topic?
My opinion is he will be the best footy player in this draft and im not worried about his feet.

Strange response to pretty basic questions. As for my opinion on the topic well i have seen only Kelly play live and also more than 3 games. The rest I have seen 3 or less games so i have no idea who is the best player and thats why I asked you those questions because it seems obvious if you have that opinion then you have seen a few of them play many more games than me otherwise you wouldnt be so sure he will be the player of the draft.
Actually I have seen Kelly, Freeman and Salem play many more games than any of the others and I think Freeman may end up the best of those 3 and am quite happy that we will miss out on Kelly. So there you go Con I gave my opinion based on some evidence. Hope you can do the same.
