I think the absurdity of the current situation at the club has brought out some silliness in some of us (including moi).
Alan Richardson will be our new coach. And I'll be celebrating the news by eating a big plate of cauliflower and brussel sprouts for dinner, whilst sipping on a nice cool glass of turnip juice. Yay...
Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!
Let's hope they give you three clear years to do a methodical, as opposed to a quick fix, rebuild.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
Well he is the coach.
Low profile does not mean hes not going to be a gun coach.
A humble bloke who understands players amd just wants to be a good coach is often better than a hotshot hero like Voss or Hird.
From herein I'm 100% behind him.
"At the end of the day, a coach and a fitness adviser doesn't make a good football team, they're not the only ones who got us to two Grand Finals." Lenny Hayes. 27/9/2011.

They played a sound bite from Channel 7 and Koch this morning. Maybe someone can post it.
But there us an advantage to having a media player for a President- you have a bigger grandstand to perform from.
Essentially he is saying Richardson is contracted until 2015 and the will not be releasing him this "late in the season""
St Kilda have their troubles and in his words "that's their problem" and Richardson will not allowed to leave.
Of course he will be let go. I think they have to under an agreement with clubs bot Kochie is doing the right thing by his club. he aint no d**khead. Lets hope Summers is as good a president in getting our club out there.
