No more white-anting required, thanks.
I think that's what a lot of the 'leaking' is intended to achieve.
I think they know that there are/were issues, and that the fans and the public have wind of it. And the best way to address it is to fess up and show everyone that it's been dealt with and we're moving forward with clear direction.

But it does say they met with Geelong preliminary final week. That was a month ago. Why bring it up now. Oh yeah, another Stkilda story. Pity we dont get commission for every story written about us.
Just think there are bigger stories around at the moment.
Would love a bigger understanding of how buddy got to sydney, or a report on what the hell is going on at Brisbane. or how does Freo intend to take the next step. or why isnt dusty in rio with his team.
summers spoke with Robbo last week, and this most likely is still part of what was said but was not written last last week, to draw out another article

Don't understand how things could have got so bad before Summers took charge? .
Westawy wasa Muppet Puppet.
Not having a proper leader means you go backwards.
All these pats on the back when Westaway went I find amazing. His term a as President was a disaster.
With the onfield success we had we should have been set up for many a year.
A bit harsh. He took over the club when it was at war and steered it through some of our strongest years with regards to finals appearances and also through some of the more tumultuous years the club has seen. He's also transitioned the club to a new President in a very professional and seamless manner. Calling his term a disaster is a bit of an over reaction IMO and not quite reflective of a lot of the good he did. He's a passionate Saints man at the end of the day and he was thrown a few curve balls that didn't help his cause.

Agree. Westaway was a reluctant media performer and probably reluctant to take on the presidency in the first place. But he saw the stuff that Rocket had ended up with and knew someone had to made a stand. He should be applauded not abused.
I like the fact that we went after Trevor Nisbett as CEO. We need a Nisbett type. I'd be throwing the kitchen sink and as much soap as possible to get someone like Andrew Ireland. Give him a ten year contract and get Gerry Ryan or someone to finance it. Ireland is a gun.
