Wednesday Special: Trade targets
I just read this on the AFL website:
FREMANTLE
The boldest move the Dockers could make is this: Get Nick Riewoldt from St Kilda for a two-year tilt at a premiership with Fremantle. The Saints have already shown they are prepared to trade for the future and it seems no one is off limits. The Dockers could package together pick 16, Josh Mellington, Viv Michie and even young ruckman Jack Hannath for the four-time All Australian. The Dockers could throw in Alex Silvagni if required. The Dockers have been linked with possible trades for James Podsiadly and Scott Gumbleton but if the 2013 Grand Finalists really wanted to send shudders through the AFL they should move heaven and earth for Riewoldt. - Alex Malcolm
I know it's only speculative, but would we consider it????

Re: Wednesday Special: Trade targets
Nope
Neither would they
I still cant understand why they wobt just give up pick 16 for jesse white.
Papers are reporting pies getting Jesse white for nothing.
If lyon was prepared to throw pick 16 at lovett i simply cant understand why he wont throw 16 plus a big contract at white
Then after that freo will target gumbleton

Re: Wednesday Special: Trade targets
Yep, let's get rid of a St Kilda legend in exchange for half a dozen players we don't need and then delist half a dozen players we already have and have previously decided to retain. Brilliant!saintbob wrote:I just read this on the AFL website:

We really need some clubs to start getting trades done so that these journos really have something to write about.

Re: Wednesday Special: Trade targets
No.
Why would we trade our on field leader, champion, legend, captain and superstar for a late first round draft pick and a handfull of GOPs. Some of whom couldn't possibly make the list unless we delist existing players who are just as good or better.
I'd laugh if it wasn't sad

Re: Wednesday Special: Trade targets
Laugh but yesterday Jay Clarke said we told GWS we would offer any two players on our list for pick one. No one off limits, they could have had Jack Steven and Rooey but didn't rate any of our players highly enough to trade for pick one.
Re: Wednesday Special: Trade targets
This trade is on and I've heard Fyfe is the player Freo are willing to throw our way, with Walters as a sweetener if we throw in our third rounder.. We'd be silly to not at least consider it..

Well if they throw in Clarke (I like his hair) and Mundy (don't like his hair though) we might do business.

There’s odds of $1.10 that CJ will set Tom on fire while it’s $26.50 that someone will actually put him out.stevie wrote:As long as CJ sets him on fire during the handover, let's go for itDr Spaceman wrote: I'm hearing something similar except it's Tom Waterhouse we get.
Mind you Tom will refund all losing bets if one of his Mum’s horses runs in the first 7 at Mudgee on Sunday.
Or if you get a big tough guy to rough him up a bit

Re: Wednesday Special: Trade targets
WTF? Why are you even posting this shyte? How many times does Pelchen have to send us a lettr categorically stating the Roo and Joey are going nowhere. How many times does SW have to say Roo is a club legend and going nowhere. Seriously, when was this crap written and why bother even posting it.saintbob wrote:I just read this on the AFL website:

speaking of Tom waterhouase anyone seen the "Kidbet" ads

Re: Wednesday Special: Trade targets
Half of those Freo hacks played in the last game against the Saints and were well out of their depth..
Idiotic trade suggestion..
this Trade/ Free Agency business has almost ground to a halt, it has to be because of the FA compo picks, how soon does Dimwit announce them after this round of FA
finishes at 5.00pm Friday.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
