Re: Disarray update 10/10/13
What money from the AFL have we received to bail us out? Don't all clubs get allocated money (which varies due to their financial position) due to the media rights deal?
I haven't read or heard of us ANYWHERE having to go cap in hand asking for more like North, Carlton, Melbourne, Richmond or the Bulldogs have over the last 10-15 years. I stand to be corrected, but my understanding is that we have not. Essendon are the club that are $7 million in debt, NOT us!!
Besides, if the AFL insist on playing the smaller clubs at a ground that costs these same clubs WAY more to break even than it does at the MCG, they can freakin' well keep handing out money. Etihad stadium (apart from it's comforts for the supporters when viewing the game) is the biggest stuff up of all time. They couldn't even build the stadium so that it was facing the right direction!!!!!!!!!

We have received redistriubtion funds from the sale of Waverley and in the last year a balance allowance for the Etihad poor returns.

Re: Disarray update 10/10/13
So no special allowances because we are such a rabble and that we are financially inept? Thought as much.
So everytime we are lumped together with North, Bulldogs, etc it is once again more the point that the commentators/radio personalities don't check their facts and just 'assume' we are one of the clubs that constantly gets given handouts? Excellent to know. Gees, any of us could get a gig on radio these days.....you certainly don't need to have contacts or research your information prior to taking it to the public arena! You can just make it up or 'assume'.

This doesn't paint a picture of a rat fleeing from a sinking ship:
Eagles football operations manager Craig Vozzo said in a statement: "Jaymie (Graham) has always been very well respected in football circles, and he has continued this reputation in his two years at St Kilda. He is always spoken of very highly.
"We are thrilled to welcome someone of Jaymie's character to the club in a development role, working with our younger players and managing their skills and career progression.
"He's had some valuable experience at St Kilda and this is a great appointment for us."

What's the point of Davoren having a contract and then leaving?

Bit unfair to expect a prediction before it happens. I mean, he would look plain silly if he was wrong?!
joffaboy wrote:Come on...you thrive on disarray...can you predict what it is?BigMart wrote:I disagree.... I think we're flying like all the experts do?!
still waiting for this years draft smokie, have asked BM on a number of times to provide this years Gundy or Darling,
Funnily enough he is a bit shy about making a prediction
Coming from JB - still does not understanding why you don't take Howard (smokie) 2nd round...you are laughable JB.
Idiots like you trying to discredit another.......have you still got your hand on it big boy?
Re: Disarray update 10/10/13
Well the disarray strategy has been firmly placed front and centre of the STKFC.
After dissapointing us all with a successful trading period, and a wonderful facade of stability and competence, our faith has been restored.
Seems like all the reassuring good news and optimism coming out of the mouths of Bains, Pelchan, and Summers was a clever rouse to disguise the fact that our Disarray strategy was still front and centre.
A master stroke of deception by the club. Absolutelt brilliant. As we all sorrowfully came to terms with the stability and success strategy, you suddenly pull the big one and revert to form.
Well played STKFC.
