Yeah and I met the Three Witches one night when they turned up wearing their official Collingwood Cheer Squad t-shirts.

I will be wearing my St Kilda scarf and carry a small wooden box which I intend to bury in the sand. The box will contain the 2013 bumper sticker, fridge magnet and a message to Saint Kilda.
Did Gershwin survie the windy isle?

Yes I had a great day on St Kilda (main island is actually called Hirta - St Kilda is the archipelago).
It is a 3 hour boat trip, then had 4 hours on Hirta and another 3 hours back via the other islands in the group - all swarming with seabirds).

The remains of the village are still there (16 19th century houses comprised the village 'street'). Also lots of stone 'sheds' where they dried the bird meat that they mainly survived on). The island is quite mountainous and very beautiful. A very evocative place and for me it was quite emotional being there.

Got a couple of photos proudly holding the St Kilda scarf that my wife knitted for me (I forgot to bring one over from Australia).

How do I put a photo on here?

Saw this the other day. One of the last Island of St Kilda residents died. One left. Pretty hardy people, not unlike current Saints supporters!

I have been thinking of going there. Seen many TV programs about it over here in the UK, and it seems quite familiar now. We are going to explore the Outer Hebrides at some stage, and St Kilda is of course a whole other trip.

But I'm looking at it! Well done to you for going there.

Did you know that there is also a St Kilda in Queensland and South Australia? I know I did not know that!

Soon there may be one in Tassie or NZ.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

"and we violate their women (no. 44 & the ex. Bomber) " Really Gershwin. Time to crawl back under your rock.
