Where the bloody hell was our little Yapper for that retiree procession?!?! I wanted at least something to remember that Grand Final by.
The greatest small foward, possibly in the history of the game wasn't given his due respect on the holy day of Australian Rules Football. No doubt he would have been soundly booed by an audience of stinking turds and pukes, but he has put up with that for the past 10 years and has survived all of it. Instead, there was a poor man's version of him (Hayden Ballantyne) playing in the match.
I'm tired of watching GF after GF and seeing a bunch of arseholes take all of the glory. When the bloody hell do we get to witness our beloved Saints do the honours?
To hell with all the other seventeen teams! ONE-EYED SAINTER FOR LIFE

Milney is reported to have declined the invitation sainternist, do you beleive that was his decision?
I don't.
Regardless, I never worry about the regard of the dirty demos. We know in our hearts we witnessed a genius, Silly GF procession or not.

This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

Actually hearing him say it could be another thing. But I'm with you. I don't buy it one little bit. It stinks to high heaven.roskilde wrote:Milney is reported to have declined the invitation sainternist, do you beleive that was his decision?

I went.
It was my 45th Grand Final.
I enjoy the atmosphere and the spectacle.
The moments that turn a game.
But they are always sad days.
I always see the ghosts from 71, 97, 09 and 10 and probably always will.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
