Probably a wise move.
At least I can cheer on Kosi & Blake.

Utter f****** crap! He should have been there. Very poor form on behalf of the AFL and the club to advise him to not be a part of it, IMHO. I actually feel incensed by this. He played 13 f****** years for us and isn't given his due respect. A disgrace that he was not honoured today. How dare they!

You clearly have no idea of club image do you?Sainternist wrote:Utter f****** crap! He should have been there. Sure we all loved him as a player and was a club champion, but the rape charges throw a huge cloud overt things now. Would be a bad look for the club in front of 100K

Re: Milney to miss GF parade
I don't think it would have made ANY DIFFERENCE whatsoever in the general scheme of things. I mean, the club permitted him to play after suspending him this season. Why the bloody did they do that and not permit him to go out there today? Talk about flip-flopping and flipping again. Guilty until proven in a court of law - I thought everyone on here was a big advocate for that. Instead, the club folded like a deck of cards. He needed to have his contributions as a football player remembered on the big day. This is bulls***!saintspremiers wrote:You clearly have no idea of club image do you?Sainternist wrote:Utter f****** crap! He should have been there. Disgraceful from the AFL

Who was that red headed child in the car with Kosi and the Blakester?

Re: Milney to miss GF parade
Anyone consider there is a chance Milne might not have wanted to go round? I have no idea but just putting it out there..just imagine the reception he would have received with no saints fans there to cheer. Milney had his dream send off in front of his adoring fans, he certainly wouldn't have gotten much show of respect from anyone else yesterday and that's what its all about..

Milney044 said in part ;
.... and what a good send-off it was! I think that you are on the money here - why would Milney want to chance an arwkward send off, with its associated press blow-out. Nothing in it for the Club or AFL either.Milney had his dream send off in front of his adoring fans, he certainly wouldn't have gotten much show of respect from anyone else yesterday and that's what its all about.

Re: Milney to miss GF parade
Good point. I guess I got a little bit emotional yesterday after first finding out. I wouldn't like to speculate on whether he did or didn't want to be a part of the cavalcade though.milney044 wrote:Anyone consider there is a chance Milne might not have wanted to go round? Thank you. Glad to hear I wasn't alone on thinking that.Enrico_Misso wrote:Disgraceful from the AFL
