Ahmed Saad Hearing? !!
I believe that Ahmed's hearing should already have taken place, yet he hasn't even been served with an infraction notice yet even though the results of his B sample have been known for a month. The delay is harming Ahmed, harming other players on the list whose future could be dependant on the Ahmed decision and it is harming the club and its planning for 2014 and beyond.
It appears to me that the AFL and/or ASADA are sitting on their hands on this matter because of the Essendon matter where they don't want to end up with egg on their faces. Well, the Ahmed situation is here & now and should be dealt with in a timely manner and not be delayed because of something that has absolutely nothing to do with this case !!

Yep. Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.
Re: Ahmed Saad Hearing? !!
It should have, but there's a good chance that ASADA are really stretched for resources.
Look at the level of drug cheating we've typically had in Australia, then Add Essendon.
Its like a company specialising in wheels for aftermarket Commodores suddenly getting a contract to supply the Volkswagon factory.

I think the club is waiting to hear from the AFL whether Saady can remain on the list (possibly as a rookie). This situation hasn't arisen before (Justin Charles retired when he was caught) & surprise surprise the AFL don't have a policy in place by the sounds of it.
I think the club might be happy to keep him on as a rookie if the ban is for 12 months but he'll probably be delisted if it goes the full 2 years.

Can't be paid if found guilty, so maybe voids the contract, contract's could use a clause about drugs, seeming a sponsorship deals do apparantly

Ahmed Saad Hearing? - that may explain it then.....
CLUB DOCTOR: We don't want you taking Viking protein powder
AHMED: Vikings been louder? I suppose with all that looting and pillaging they had to be
DOCTOR: It contains a banned stimulant
AHMED: Never heard of a band called "Stimulant". Any good. I'm not really into heavy metal. Metallica are ok.
DOCTOR: You could test positive
AHMED: It is best to be positive isn't it. I love Oprah. You should come see my vision board.
CLUB DOCTOR: You understand?
AHMED: Er...I'm standing already Doc. Anyway got to go make my milkshake. It must be the chocolate that gives me so much energy. Yummy!
