At 3% of the Australian population, they seem to be more than adequately represented in the AFL.saintspremiers wrote:aren't aboriginal footballers on the nose at the moment?
My personal opinion is that they were so highly regarded in our sport that clubs tended to "overdraft" in the belief that all indigenous players were going to be sensational.
Case in point - Nicholas Winmar.
