Demetriou in hot water for laughing about burnt dwarf

ANDREW Demetriou has apologised for laughing uncontrollably about a dwarf allegedly being set on fire and says he thought it was a joke.

Appearing on Channel 7's Talking Footy last night, Demetriou burst into fits of laughter and slapped the table as panellist Luke Darcy told him what allegedly happened at St Kilda’s Mad Monday celebrations.

He said he would contact dwarf entertainer Blake Johnston to personally apologise for laughing.

So the question is why did he laugh at all? Not a good look by Andy. It reveals much about his true nature.

Yeah, you find that a lot of the people involved in football have a very poor moral compass.
They don't stand up to bullying, or even hate crimes.
It disgusts me, frankly, to see them laugh.

I just LOVED it on Talking footy when Malthouse said to D'Arcy: "you wouldn't know too much about selection panels would you Luke"? (or words to that effect) I'm no fan of Malthouse but also loved it when he gave Roland Colony from the Age a similar barb! At least D'Arcy has played the game at AFL level Colony is no more credentialed than many on here to talk football!
