When Kosi was KING!!
I love the video - its easy to forget how good the big guy was on his day....I wish we saw him injury free and at his best for a whole year.

Re: When Kosi was KING!!
He was a gun in that period. I loved the Kos. He was pretty unfairly treated and I believe his confidence suffered from the jeers of the crowd and negativity as much as anything. The crap he got about being clumsy and s*** don't help anyone.
One of the nicest guys you will meet and under Ross was used more as a foil for Rooey than in the role he had strength in. Ross' game plan was all about spread and run and it wasn't the style that suited his game.
He was an old fashioned stay at home forward who was forced to adapt to a less suited game plan. he is one of those what could have been stories. Gia trying to decapitate him didn't help.

At that stage SS was about 70/30 that Justin was better than Nick
Which was surprising given 2004.... When Nick was the best player in the AFL

My lowlight of the year - having to be on-call for work instead of at Etihad. To rub salt into the wound I couldn't get local coverage of the broadcast so I spent the afternoon diving around trying to listen to a distant, crackling 3AW call. Mind you, I was doing a bit of the sniffing and blubbering myself (blame the wattles in bloom)!
I'm finally watching the match after recording it on Foxtel - and loving it. I got home this afternoon just in time to see Blakey kick his goal; wonderful stuff. And I have just read Samantha Lane's excellent interview with Kosi which puts everything into perspective. Kosi will always be my king, too, K and it is a shame that so many so-called supporters on this forum have gone out of their way to belittle a grand player and great bloke.
Long live King Kosi.
