What has Armo done???

Post: # 1376736Post CURLY »

Must have pissed off someone at AFL HQ or Gieshen. Can't buy a free although he gets hammered from pillar to post. When McGlyn hit him front on and high and the umpire called play on even Bruce just remained stunned for a moment or two. Clearly the umpires choose to not protect or reward him.

Armo hits the packs like a cannon ball at the present so perhaps the umps think he is bringing it on a little - not sure really. I'm not too worried though as long as he keeps playing with the aggression.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

WCE are about 10th. We were a top 8 side for many years. Did you think that way for the last 10 years?

Yes because we have never been rich and powerful!

So you have to be both. Interesting. I think North may the most frees this ear.

Selwood is a much better player than Armo, who is slow and tries to take on players but in the end, gets caught and turns over the ball...I would trade him off to be honest

"The Selwoods of this world"
North is a basket case, so their frees are an exception to my statement.
I should have added "generally" or "in most cases".
Is that better, plugger?

What crap. Armo and Steven are two walk up start midfielders at any club.

I think all AFL clubs sit down and replay the game so the players and coaches can review how they went.
The fact that Armo keeps getting selected, might indicate that these trained professionals may know a bit more than some keyboard heroes.

Correct.
Which probably means you and I know nothing as well.

Whilst it's fine to make comparisons and add our own why and why not to a lot of things, the reality is that the NON DECISION involving Armo & McGlynn was an absolute HOWLER, and it is decisions like this that need to be fully explained by the umpiring Dept !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Give it away spert, really your call is as bad as one poster naming Jack Steven as a dud and the worst player ever at St.Kilda.

Armo is just as quick as Joel Selwood, Luke Ball, Sam Mitchell and a number of other in an unders.

Really must be one of the worst calls on one of our players this season.

That incident followed by another about a minute later where one of our players (cant remember who) took a mark about 60 metres out and as he got to his feet the Sydney player interfered with him by pushin back down to the ground. Umpire right on the spot doesn't do a thing. 50 metre penalty and a certain goal every day of the week, except yesterday.

Really really gobsmackingly bad, especially the McGlynn decision. Incredibly bad.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

In a five minute block Armo was taken high in Sydneys 50 and they goaled commentaters commented on it then he was ridden in the back and had McGlynn smash him front on and high in a marking contest. Ok if the game was let go but then they reward Pyke with a gift goal from a apparent mark. Baffling at best.

Remember the Hanneberry one, pushed Geary to the ground after Gears clearly outpointed him to mark. Reacted like a spoiled schoolkid. Remember yelling at the TV "that's 50" and being amazed at no 50. Thought the Pyke one was paid for Blake chopping the arm and was the softest decision in the history of mankind but I think this happens when you are in the bottom half of the table.

They seem to have different rules at the SCG for NSW audiences. They creep over the mark every time, tunnel, run into the backs of the marking player and sit on players backs with out penalty.

It could have been worse. Just thank the Lord Paul Roos wasn't commentating the game.

Haven't been angry at the umps for a fair while now, after a run from hell early in the season. Yesterday they got under my skin again. We don't get a good run when we play the Swans. Not recently anyway.
