Re: What we need
Dustin Martin? Sloane?
You know I was listening to abc radio on Saturday and Burkey was on. They were talking about watts and how he stuffed up with something he said in Thursday? Anyways the commentators felt he was very unlikely to be at Melbourne next season. I can't remember exactly what was said from there but something gave me the impression burkey quite rated him and felt he'd flourish at another club in a new environment. Made me wonder whether he is someone we are looking at..?

Re: What we need
We need,
6 more quality mids that can rotate forward and back.
CHB and FB
and a CHF/3rd tall forward that will take contested grabs.
And aggression like armo's and mcgylnn's on every line

Re: What we need
He is dreadful. He will be dreadful at any club. He is an outside midfielder in a key position body. Melbourne would be good to fool another club into thinking he will come good at their club.MC Gusto wrote:Dustin Martin? Sloane?

And it wouldn't be the first time in recent years that we've taken the bait..savatage wrote:He is dreadful. He will be dreadful at any club. He is an outside midfielder in a key position body. Re: What we need
Sadly, Watts lacks the drive, aggression, and intensity to be a key position player in the AFL. He's a floater and a cruiser. Not what we need.

Re: What we need
Watts has actually improved lately I'm no fan but worth a look. A KPB is vital- poor old Blake looked like he struggled to keep up these days.

Re: What we need
It's going to need to be very creative to get Watts to our club - not worth our first pick and id suggest even our 2nd pick is overs and I doubt our 3rd pick will be enough to get the deal done.

Re: What we need
Watts will go to Freo perhaps?
We need some mids with outside run, we break down with that kick into the 50. Guys that can do a bit of both.
Ross/Armo can be the engine rooms.

Re: What we need
Sorry gringo. Disagree watts has improved. I was at the ground and saw every one of watts possessions. I also saw what he refuses to do. He puts no pressure on and his opponents love to kick goals due to his lackluster efforts. He runs around in circles to give and get the ball back so he accumulates possessions. He is s*** and will always be s***.
Melbourne will do well to fool another club with him and god I hope it's not us!

SAINTS have been riddled with this enigma for the entirety of the their existence - believing they can turn ordinary players from other clubs into stars. Hopefully that cycle finishes this year ! WATTS is a soft c**k and no matter what team his is playing for that status quo will remain !savatage wrote:Sorry gringo. Disagree watts has improved. Some sensible picks in the draft and a very very very quiet off-season. Be good boys....
