Sw does like pulling a late change. I still don't know why we would upgrade him if we don't play shenton

Re: Shenton or Gilbo
Just got back from a local eatery here in the Cross and I gotta tell ya, no one's talking about Gilbo playing.
Then again, no one's talking about Shenton playing.
No one's really talking about the game.
No one seems to know what the AFL is.
A lot of people are drunk.
Carn the Saints!!!!!

but seriously - playing a guy who hasnt played in 12 weeks and actually isnt that good anyway (gilbo) over a guy in good form who we want a look at (shenton) has me really questioning our coach.
what a joke.

Re: Shenton or Gilbo
Considering how he is playing a few of us look silly. You have more courage than me Con to say that after that half of footy.Con Gorozidis wrote:rightoplugger66 wrote:I do know lenny is in.

The match committee is being conservative with the young players, rotating them regardless of form.Con Gorozidis wrote:rightoplugger66 wrote:I do know lenny is in.

Gilbo going ok. Strange move though.
It make absolutely no sense to upgrade a rookie then not play him. I can not fathom it at all.

11 disposals at 90% efficiency, 6 1%ers not bad for a bloke that hasnt played for 12 weeks

Gilbo was fantastic for a bloke who hasn't played for 14/15 weeks.

Agreed I have to concede he had a very good game and can understand why he played as he is our best 3rd up option!whiskers3614 wrote:my sentiments exactly, will make a huge difference next year.8856brother wrote:Gilbo was fantastic for a bloke who hasn't played for 14/15 weeks.

Re: Shenton or Gilbo
Gilbo did well and we were desperate for his extra few cm down back .
I went too early after the first 5 minutes with this thread.
Would have liked to see Shenton play.
Maybe Josh was due a rest in hindsight? Would have been like for like.

Gilbert was immense and showed why we missed him so much.

Was a bit dirty when nobody returned the favour too.
