Wow Geary and Roberton and Gilbo are a good defensive team.

We're starting to drop the pressure... either that or the Swans are ramping it up.

Sydney onballers really getting on top. With that extra bit of time they had they were hitting targets

I think the umpiring has been good, but a couple of centre bounces at the end there went a mile in Sydney's direction without being recalled. Disappointing.

Is McEvoy injured? Really gone backwards the last few weeks. Not a bad quarter but need to go a bit more direct. Seems that we'll only get goals on the counter attack.

I'm impressed with Curren. Can't say I've noticed him before.

I think Curren's poor skills and lack of pace are about as valid as Ledger's poor kicking and bad attitude. Curren is looking like a long-term Montagna replacement. Super impressive

beautiful McEvoy tap and center clearance
7:10 second quarter - have a look
Hitouts 34 to 13 at half time. Does that tell you how s*** our ruckmen are???

Positive out of the negative - the huge pressure these guys have been under ALL YEAR is fast tracking their defensive abilities. Once we can win it out of the middle regularly they can look at being more damaging setting up attacks.

Can we lift and/or keep things going in the second 1/2? The play was in their forward 1/2 for about 75% of the second Q. If that continues they will eventually break it open !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Pretty much the story of our year....good endeavour...but lack of clean ball use sees us not getting goals, and the opposition getting some that they should not have.

Many positive signs though.

Around the ground 7 marks to their two ruckmen and 1 mark between our two ruckmen. They just don't do enough.

And while we are at it is there any chance of Lee actually getting into the game and touching the ball (3 touches)? Yes, he is a good kick but that's currently it. If he only gets 4 kicks a match then they all need to be goals.
